Personal Information

Contingent Workers must complete the personal information documents as well as acknowledge basic policies that must be adhered to while working on any of Performance Contracting worksites.

Job Summary: The Solutions Architect is responsible for driving the selection of tools and timing of upgrades/changes, educating management and the team on emerging technologies, and providing thought leadership. They spearhead defining technical solutions, requirements, coding, and other standards, ensuring they are followed by the team. The role requires a proactive approach to continuously improve existing solutions processes for a cohesive and durable ecosystem. 

Responsibilities  

  • Ensure that deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other teams to understand applications and business processes
  • Meet deadlines alongside the team on all sprint and project commitments
  • Proactively monitors and assists with team workload balance  
  • Document, communicate and maintain architectural designs, ensuring accurate implementation by the development team
  • Work with third party vendors to integrate their technologies within organization's structure  
  • Ensure the development team understands and implements designs accurately  
  • Translate business requirement documentation into technical design documentation  
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Contribute to and uphold processes, policies, and goals of the team 
  • Stay current with industry knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks
  • Assess third-party integrations for compatibility with current systems
  • Resolve technical problems, making tradeoffs and communicating pros and cons to management and the team
  • Lead activities such as defining application requirements, coding standards, testing scope, and policies, ensuring team adherence 
  • Providing thought leadership on emerging technologies to the team 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X++  
  • Proficiency with Git or other version control systems   
  • Knowledgeable with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelines  
  • Experience with modern data and cloud platforms, i.e., Fabric, PowerPlat Form, Synapse 
  • Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns  
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, software integration, operating systems and computer hardware. 
  • Extensive knowledge of relational databases, data structure and querying  
  • Advanced business awareness and understanding of the focused areas 
  • Strong communication skills; timely and effectively both written and oral
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills   
  • Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and works well with others, encourages team cohesiveness and morale  
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and turn it into process improvements
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile philosophies, Scrum practices, and SDLC 
  • Thrives in a fast pace environment where self-learning and self-service is encouraged  
  • Strong knowledge of modern AI/Automation platforms and concept 
  • Proven ability to lead development of significant projects 
  • Experience with large and complex system implementations 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Local to the KC metro area
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
