Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Head of Business Technology Execution for its Information Technology 998 operations based in Lenexa, Kansas. This individual will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the Business Technology Execution teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the execution of software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.  Ensure mechanisms are in place to understand production and value while deriving opportunities to improve.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure robust manual and automated quality testing processes are in place to maintain the highest standards of software quality.
  • AI and Data Initiatives: Drive AI and data management and enablement initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance business processes and decision-making.
  • Solution Design: Oversee solutions architecture efforts, ensuring that architectural solutions meet business requirements and align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Low Code Development: Promote and manage low code development initiatives to accelerate application development and delivery.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Business Technology Execution teams, aligning with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in software development, AI, data management, solutions architecture, and low code development, and apply them to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including senior management, to report on the progress and benefits of business technology execution initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with business technology execution projects and develop mitigation strategies.

Basic Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the space of business technology
  • 5+ years of proven success leading business technology execution teams
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of software development, quality assurance, AI, data management, solutions architecture, and low code development processes
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies
  • Experience managing large cross-functional projects

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry preferred
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) and other automation technologies
  • Local to the KC Metro area
