PCG is seeking a Corporate Travel Agent for its corporate headquarters based in Lenexa, KS. This individual will be responsible for the following:
- Booking and issuing domestic and international airline itineraries, hotel reservations, car reservations, train tickets, travel insurance, other land transportation
- Process travel requests, sometimes booking 30-40 transactions a day
- Assist travelers and planners with complex itineraries
- Provide online and agent assist reservation fulfillment; ticketing, exchanges, refunds and voids
- Review, negotiate and make recommendations with event contracts as needed
- Monitor and support corporate travel department email and telephones
- Maintain traveler profiles
Basic Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience working in a customer-facing position
- Must have robust customer service skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must have the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Ability to process high-volume requests required
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to learn and apply new skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in the travel industry
- Proficiency with travel booking systems
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience booking corporate travel
- Experience with international travel bookings and group travel
- Experience with Sabre Reservation System
- Experience with Acendas is preferred
- Local to the Kansas City area
