Driver

Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced full-time Driver for its PCI Madison 574 operations based in Madison, WI. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

• Follow DOT and company regulations / safety standards
• Inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
• Material and tool delivery to our job sites
• Order pulling, truck loading and unloading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling
• Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift
• Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in a safe and responsible manner
• Communicate with jobsite foremen to ensure efficient transportation
• Communicate with superintendent to receive direction on schedule changes

Basic Requirements 

• Must have current valid driver’s license and be able to pass a MVR (motor vehicle report)

• Must be dependable, hardworking, and an effective communicator

• Must be able to perform regular heavy lifting when handling materials

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time
• Some overtime may be required

Preferred Requirements

• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus
