PCI is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing employee-owned organization as an Associate Project Engineer for its Los Angeles 557 operations based in Anaheim, CA.
The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.
Job responsibilities include:
- Conduct safety meetings
- Create and manage punch lists
- Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program
- Prepare RFI’s and submittals
- Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
- Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
- Support the implementation of the job schedule
- Coordinate warranties and O&M’s
- Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing
Salary range: $85,800-$90,800 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
This position is safety-sensitive.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Construction Science, or comparable work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
- Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
- Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative
- Works well under pressure and deadline
Preferred Requirements:
- OSHA Certification
- Willing to travel/relocate based on project needs
