Job Description

Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform applying of fireproofing materials in new and existing commercial construction applications.
• Inspect work to ensure the installation is complete per approved shop drawings.
• Able to complete masking and tarping responsibilities.
• Able to read and understand thickness and structural drawings.
• Perform mixing of plaster material to desired consistency.
• Apply scratch, brown or finish coats of plaster to walls and ceilings for a uniform finish.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe environment.
• Able to work off of elevated platforms (i.e.) lifts or scaffolds.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to perform basic math
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
