Performance Contracting Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Developer II to join our IT Development and Automation team. This role based out of Lenexa, KS will:

Responsibilities:
- Guide, mentor, and coach the development team, removing blockers and ensuring project completion.
- Proactively monitors and assists with team workload balance
- Collaborate with team leaders and management on project direction and department strategy.
- Define best practices and standards, ensuring adherence across the team.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify and escalate SDLC issues and gaps
Basic Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X++.
- Proficiency and understanding of relational databases and querying.
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead development of significant projects.
- Advanced business awareness and understanding.
- Demonstrated leadership in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working well with a team.
Preferred Requirements:
- Local to the Kansas City metro area
- Proven experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 F&O
- MB 300 and MB 500 certification.
- Masters in a relevant field
