Agency - Senior Software Developer II

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Developer II to join our IT Development and Automation team. This role based out of Lenexa, KS will:

Responsibilities:

• Guide, mentor, and coach the development team, removing blockers and ensuring project completion. 
• Proactively monitors and assists with team workload balance 
• Collaborate with team leaders and management on project direction and department strategy. 
• Define best practices and standards, ensuring adherence across the team. 
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance software quality. 
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. 
• Identify and escalate SDLC issues and gaps 

Basic Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development. 
• Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X++. 
• Proficiency and understanding of relational databases and querying. 
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems. 
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelines. 
• Proven ability to lead development of significant projects. 
• Advanced business awareness and understanding. 
• Demonstrated leadership in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders. 
• Proven track record of working well with a team.

Preferred Requirements:

• Local to the Kansas City metro area
• Proven experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and/or Dynamics 365 F&O 
• MB 300 and MB 500 certification. 
• Masters in a relevant field
